What do Newport City Council use InPhase for?

In Newport City Council we use InPhase to manage and monitor our corporate plan, our service plan, we also use it for performance monitoring and also we have the risk management system in there, we also are looking to develop it for the project management and audit functionalities and finance system as well going forward.

What made you choose InPhase above the competition?

We wanted to have a system that was integrated, we wanted all our corporate management team and all our managers to view and see how they are performing against their service plans against the corporate plan objectives.

Also the performance management and the risk, we wanted to integrate into one package, so they interrogate that system and make decisions in terms of how the business is preforming, and looking forward into how we want to perform in the future.

What benefits are you currently getting from InPhase and what other benefits do you see in the future?

With InPhase we have seen individuals and service areas utilise the system more effectively in decision making, using the system to manage risk and being more proactive in terms of managing that risk.

We are looking for InPhase to provide us with us a project management tool, which will enable us to manage our projects more effectively going forward, and also our auditing functionality in getting our internal audit and our external audits being monitored and managed, and to be able to manage those actions and risks across the organisation and future.
